Connect ElegooSlicer to Yantra Bhavan

Add Yantra Bhavan to ElegooSlicer as an OctoPrint print host. Works only with a printer profile that offers OctoPrint, which Elegoo's own printers don't.

Checked with ElegooSlicer 1.5.3.5 on Linux, 2026-09-30. Menus may be named or placed differently in other versions.

If your printer profile does offer OctoPrint, you set this up once.

  1. Create a print-host key

On Slicer connections, choose Connect, name it after the computer, and pick Slicer (print host). Copy the key — it starts with ybph_ and is shown only once. Also copy the host address shown under Slicer setup. You need to be an Owner or Manager, and your plan must include integrations.

You have a host address ending in /api/print-host and a key starting with ybph_.

  2. Add the strip tool (recommended)

Download it from sending a slice back. In ElegooSlicer, open the process settings, switch to Advanced or Expert mode, and go to Others → Post-processing scripts. Paste the tool's full path and save the preset.

The saved process preset shows the tool's path.

  3. Add Yantra Bhavan as an OctoPrint host

With a printer profile that offers it, open the printer's connection settings and set the host type to OctoPrint. Paste the host address into the address field and the ybph_ key into the API key field. Press Test.

ElegooSlicer reports that the connection works.

  4. Send a slice from a quote

On the RFQ, choose Open in → Elegoo Slicer. The file is saved to your computer; if it doesn't open in ElegooSlicer, open the saved file from inside ElegooSlicer. Slice it and send it to the print host. Don't rename the file.

    ElegooSlicer reports the upload succeeded.

How to know it worked

  1. On the quote, a new draft line from ElegooSlicer is in the bill of materials, with its print time and a proposed unit price.
  2. On Slicer connections, the key's Last upload reads Matched to a quote.

Keep the file name

In ElegooSlicer the output file name template belongs to the printer profile, so it depends on which profile you picked. Check that it contains , which keeps the YB-… code from the file you opened. With the strip tool set up, the code also travels inside the file, so the slice matches even if the name changes.
