- Account data (name, email, phone number, password) submitted during registration.
- Transaction data such as billing/shipping addresses and order history for fulfilment.
- Payment details are handled by our third-party processor and are not stored on Yantra Bhavan.
Design file data (crucial distinction)
- Your original STL or CAD file is processed locally during quoting and only uploaded after you explicitly consent during checkout.
- Derived metadata (volume, surface area, material usage, bounding box) is collected to power instant quoting and stored on our servers.
- Approved design files are shared with the selected vendor solely for the order you confirmed.
Information collected automatically
Technical data like IP address, browser, device, and usage timing is logged for analytics and security.
2. How we use your information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the marketplace, including the quoting workflow.
- To support client-side geometry tools that keep instant quotes responsive.
- To share fulfilment details (approved file, specs, shipping address) with the chosen vendor.
- To protect the platform from fraud, enforce policies, and keep your account secure.
3. Sharing of information
With the selected vendor
Only the approved design file, shipping/contact details, and order requirements are provided to the specific vendor you selected.
Legal and security requirements
Information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect Yantra Bhavan’s rights and safety.
Third-party service providers
Providers that handle payments, analytics, and infrastructure receive the minimum data needed to perform services under strict usage limits.
4. Data retention and security
Data retention
Personal data and derived metadata are retained while your account is active or as required to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
Design file deletion
Approved design files are archived and deleted once an order completes, in line with the Customer Terms and Vendor Agreement.
Security
We rely on industry-standard encryption and firewalls, but no solution can guarantee absolute security.
5. Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, subject to legal limitations. Submit requests through the support channels surfaced within the Yantra Bhavan marketplace.
