Engineering teams inside larger companies
Get a price without the file leaving your machine
The drawing you have been asked to email to a workshop nobody at your company has met.
Your file is measured and sliced in your own browser, so a price appears before anything is uploaded.
What makes this slow today
- Getting a quote normally means handing proprietary geometry to a shop before there is any relationship at all
- Once a file has been emailed, there is no record of who opened it or when
- A link sent for one job keeps working long after that job is over
What you get instead
Every line below is something you can check by using the product, rather than something you have to take our word for.
Pricing does not require the file to leave your machine
The measurement that produces the estimate happens in your browser. A file is uploaded when you decide to order, not to find out what something costs.
A workshop sees your file only while the job is live
Access is checked against the quotation every time, not against the age of a link. When the quotation closes, access stops on the next request — there is no window left open by an unexpired URL.
Every touch of the file is recorded
When a workshop reads a part’s details or is issued a download, a row is written recording who, what and when. It is written on the access path itself, not reconstructed afterwards.
A workshop cannot go looking
A request for a quotation that is not theirs is answered as though it does not exist. There is no response that confirms a quotation id is real to someone who has no business with it.
Confidentiality terms can be required before a preview resolves
Where a job is set up to demand it, a workshop that has not accepted the confidentiality terms does not get the file — the request fails with that as the stated reason.
The processes this usually means
All eight are quoted through the same surface, so none of these is a separate supplier relationship.
