If you are buying

Part · Parts
A Part is one design you own, uploaded once and quotable as many times as you like.
Project · Projects
A Project is an optional folder for grouping Parts; deleting one never deletes the parts inside it.
RFQ · Active RFQs
An RFQ — Request For Quotation — is one request for a price, raised against a Part and sent to workshops you choose.
Instant Quote · Instant Quote
Instant Quote is an indicative price worked out in your browser from the geometry, without any workshop having seen the part.
Order · Orders
An Order is what an accepted quote becomes once you pay, and is the point from which a workshop starts making your parts.
Shop · Shop page
A Shop is a seller's workshop as buyers see it: its name, city, machines, materials and prices.

If you are selling

Rate Card · Rate Cards
A Rate Card ties one machine to one material and states your price for that pairing; it is what makes your shop findable to buyers.
Equipment · Equipment
Equipment is the list of machines your shop owns, grouped by process, with the build envelope each one can handle.
Unit · Equipment
A unit is one physical machine, as distinct from the kind of machine it is.
Bill of Materials · RFQ detail
The Bill of Materials is the line-by-line build-up of an RFQ's price, and editing it is how a seller sends a quotation.
Production Floor · Production Floor
The Production Floor is the board that assigns jobs to idle machines automatically and shows which ones are waiting on a person.
Agent · Agents
An agent is software running on a computer in your workshop that lets machines report their own status and receive work automatically.
Work centre · Machine fleet
A work centre is a group of machines, used to organise a fleet larger than a single bench.
Settlement · Settlements
A settlement is the money from completed orders moving to your bank account, after the platform fee and taxes.

Manufacturing words

STL · Parts
An STL is the most common 3D model file format for manufacturing, describing a shape as a mesh of triangles and carrying no units.
FDM · Instant Quote
FDM is 3D printing by laying down melted plastic in layers — the most common and usually the cheapest process.
SLA · Instant Quote
SLA is 3D printing by curing liquid resin with light, giving a much finer surface than FDM at higher cost.
CNC · Instant Quote
CNC machining cuts a part out of a solid block, which is how you get metal parts and tight tolerances.
Infill · Instant Quote
Infill is the internal lattice inside a 3D printed part, and the main lever between strength and cost.
Layer height · Instant Quote
Layer height is how thick each printed layer is: thinner layers look better and take longer.
Tolerance · Requirements
A tolerance is how far a finished dimension may differ from the drawing, and tightening it anywhere raises the price everywhere.
Bounding box · Parts
The bounding box is the smallest rectangular volume your part fits inside, and decides which machines can make it.
Build envelope · Equipment
The build envelope is the largest part a machine can produce.

Money and compliance

GSTIN · Vendor verification
A GSTIN is your GST registration number, looked up live during seller verification so your legal details come from the GST record.
HSN / SAC · Bill of Materials
HSN and SAC are the classification codes for goods and services that make a GST invoice valid.
TCS · Order revenue breakdown
TCS is tax collected at source on marketplace sales, deducted before a seller's payout.
TDS · Order revenue breakdown
TDS is tax deducted at source under Section 194-O, withheld from a seller's payout and credited against their tax.
Platform fee · Order revenue breakdown
The platform fee is what Yantra Bhavan charges on a completed order, taken before the payout reaches the seller.
