Connecting your accounting software
Connect Zoho Books, ERPNext, Odoo or TallyPrime, see whether each sync worked, choose what syncs, and receive changes back.
Connect your accounting software once and the quotations you send, the orders you accept, your products and your stock changes are created there for you. Yantra Bhavan supports Zoho Books, ERPNext, Odoo and TallyPrime; you can have one accounting connection active at a time.
Connect with sign-in
An Owner or Manager opens Integrations and chooses Connect on the card of their software. Where the software supports it, the main button is Connect with …: you sign in on your software's own page and approve access. Yantra Bhavan never sees your password, and you can withdraw the access from either side at any time.
- Zoho Books — choose Connect with Zoho Books, sign in, approve, and then pick the Zoho organization that should receive your records. The organization name becomes the connected account shown on the card.
- ERPNext — your ERPNext site needs an OAuth client first. In ERPNext, create a new OAuth Client, set the grant type to Authorization Code and the response type to Code, and add this redirect URL:
https://shriganesh.yantrabhavan.com/api/vendor-erp/oauth/callback/ERPNEXT. Then, on the ERPNext card, enter your site address and the client ID (and the client secret, if you made a confidential client) and choose Connect with ERPNext.
The advanced option: an API key
Self-hosted setups that cannot use sign-in can paste a key instead, under Advanced / self-hosted. Odoo and TallyPrime only offer this path.
Is it working?
Each card shows the connection's status and when it last synced. Choose Manage to open the connection page:
- Connected — changes sync as they happen.
- Failing — recent syncs errored. They are retried on their own; the last error is shown so you can fix its cause, such as a missing tax or item setting in your software.
- Sign in again or Not finished — access expired, was withdrawn, or the sign-in was never completed. Nothing syncs until you choose Reconnect.
Under Sync runs, every change you make appears as a run. Filter to the failed ones and expand a run to see each record it tried, in which direction, and why it failed.
Choosing what syncs
What syncs on the connection page has a switch for quotations, orders, products and stock. Switch one off and nothing of that type is sent from then on — useful if you raise quotations in your accounting software by hand and do not want them twice. Records already there are left alone. Only an Owner or Manager can change these switches.
Changes coming back
Zoho Books and ERPNext can also tell Yantra Bhavan when a record changes on their side. The connection page shows the webhook URL to paste into your software. Choose Create secret, copy the secret straight into your software's webhook settings — it is shown once — and deliveries start to appear under Recent deliveries. Deliveries are refused until a secret exists. If the secret leaks, use Rotate secret; the old one stops working at once.
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the connection page stops syncing and, for sign-in connections, withdraws Yantra Bhavan's access at your software too. Nothing already in your accounting software is deleted. Connecting a different accounting software also disconnects the current one.
