The quote widget on Shopify

If your store is connected to Yantra Bhavan, the Shopify theme editor gets a Yantra Bhavan quote block. Add it to any page and buyers get your quote widget there: upload a model, see your estimate, and send you a request. No code to paste.

Set it up

1. Open RFQ Widget and find Install on your website → Shopify. Press Add to Shopify theme.
2. The dialog lists your store's addresses: its myshopify.com address and your own domain. Press Allow and turn on. This adds them to Allowed websites and makes the block available in your store.
3. In Shopify, open Online Store → Themes → Customize, go to the page where the form should appear, choose Add section (or Add block inside a section), open the Apps tab and pick Yantra Bhavan quote. Save.

If something does not work

• The block is not in the Apps list: press Add to Shopify theme first; the block appears only once it is on. It also needs an Online Store 2.0 theme, which every current Shopify theme is. Older themes that do not offer app blocks are not supported; use the snippet in a Custom Liquid section instead.
• An empty box where the form should be: the address in the browser bar is not in Allowed websites. If you added or changed a domain in Shopify, press Add to Shopify theme again so the new address is allowed. Changes take up to a minute to apply.
• It says to reconnect Shopify: the connection under Integrations has expired. Reconnect it, then try again.

What leaves your store

• Turning the block on stores four small values in your Shopify store for our app: your seller ID, shop ID, the widget's address and an on/off switch. It reads only your store's name and domains and asks for no new Shopify permissions.
• On a page with the block, the visitor's browser loads the widget from Yantra Bhavan. Model files, quantities and the buyer's sign-in go straight to Yantra Bhavan, never through Shopify. Pages without the block load nothing from us.
