The short version
SimplyPrint is the most complete print-farm platform there is: multi-brand cloud control, a queue that starts the next job by itself, camera-based failure detection, spool tracking, and a free tier to start on.
If your floor is printers, they do more than we do. We are not going to argue otherwise.
The difference is what a floor is. Ours runs eight processes, and the work arrives from a marketplace instead of from a storefront you have to build first.

They are better at printers. That is not the comparison.
Every row above about a printer goes to SimplyPrint, and if printers are your whole floor you should probably stop reading and go and try their free tier. What their product does not have is a second process. A shop that prints a housing, machines a plate for it, and cuts a gasket runs three tools and reconciles them by hand at the end of the week. Production Floor was built for that shop: eight processes, each with its own operation template, in one queue.
We do not drive your printer, and you should know that before you sign up
SimplyPrint starts your job, watches it and stops it when it goes wrong. We plan the work, route it to a unit, and record what the operator confirms. Our device agent has been validated against simulators; it has not yet been run against a full production floor of physical machines end to end. Until it has, we are not going to describe ourselves as controlling anything.
The queue argument they make against OctoPrint is ours too
SimplyPrint’s own case for outgrowing single-printer tools is that a farm needs one queue, real user roles, and work that moves without someone shepherding it. We agree completely — it is exactly why Production Floor has a dispatcher, shops, roles and per-seat billing rather than a screen per machine. We just draw the boundary of "the farm" around every machine in the building, not only the ones that extrude.
