Yantra Bhavan vs Printerhive

Their widget catches the visitors you already have. We bring the buyers.

A young farm platform with an instant-quote widget for your own website — capped at thirty printers, and built by two people.

The short version

Printerhive manages a print farm and adds something unusual: an embeddable widget that lets a visitor to your site upload a model and see an estimate.

That is the closest anyone in this category comes to our quoting flow, and it is a good idea.

It is also early — founded in 2024, a small team, and plans that stop at thirty printers and four users.

A quote widget is demand capture; a marketplace is demand

Printerhive’s widget converts people who already found you. That is worth having, and if you have traffic it may be all you need. It does nothing for a shop whose problem is that nobody knows it exists. Orders on Production Floor arrive from buyers on the marketplace, which is a different problem being solved — and the two are not mutually exclusive.

The caps are the thing to check before you commit

Thirty printers and four users is generous for a growing farm and a wall for an established one. Worth pricing against where you expect to be in two years rather than where you are.

Why we checked this one twice

A rival’s comparison page told us Printerhive imports from Shopify and WooCommerce. Their own site names Upgates. We publish what their site says, which is the rule for every cell on this website — and this is the entry that proves the rule earns its keep.

Pick Yantra Bhavan when

You would rather have the buyers than a form to catch them with, or your floor runs more than printers.

Pick Printerhive when

You have your own website and want quoting on it without building the quoting. Their widget does that today and we do not sell one.
